About the Role
Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Client Accountant to join their team in the Stockport area. As a Client Accountant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, preparing accounts, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Prepare accounts, including financial statements and tax returns
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client queries and concerns
- Work closely with the accounts team to ensure seamless delivery of services
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
Requirements
- Previous experience in a practice environment, handling accounts for a wide range of clients
- Strong IT and technical skills, with experience in accounts software, specifically Xero
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience (QBE)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
