Supporting Futures Consulting Ltd is seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our team and contribute to the management of refuge services for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in managing refuge services, ensuring high-quality support in line with operational policies and procedures.
  • Provide supervision and line management to staff, overseeing complex casework, including child protection and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Work closely with other agencies and represent the service in multi-agency meetings, promoting effective collaboration and communication.
  • Ensure services meet quality standards and that case records are maintained professionally and accurately, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist in managing budgets, rent collections, and ensuring services meet housing law requirements, ensuring financial stability and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Experience in managing services for vulnerable individuals, particularly women and children, with a strong understanding of safeguarding and case management principles.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, with a focus on delivering services that meet the needs of diverse communities.
  • DBS issued within the last 12 months or registered on the update service, with a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle highly desirable.
