Position Overview
At Turning Point, we are dedicated to assisting individuals throughout England who are facing challenges related to substance misuse. As a Wellbeing Recovery Worker, you will play a pivotal role in transforming lives by creating personalized, adaptable, and achievable support plans tailored to individual needs.
This position is situated within a correctional facility, where we implement a comprehensive model of psycho-social and clinical assistance that is grounded in evidence and aimed at addressing complex personal requirements.
We offer a competitive starting salary of £26,324 plus £3,633 for Inner London Weighting, with annual increments in accordance with our structured pay progression, potentially reaching £30,794 per annum plus £3,633 ILW. Depending on your experience, you may be eligible for a higher starting salary.

Key Responsibilities
As a Wellbeing Recovery Worker, you will contribute to delivering a high-quality, individualized service. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with service users to design realistic and flexible support packages, as well as working closely with our partners and community teams. Specific duties will encompass:
- Providing guidance, information, and referrals to service users.
- Facilitating group sessions and educating on harm reduction strategies.
- Conducting one-on-one recovery planning.
- Performing risk assessments and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Maintaining precise records of service user interactions.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience managing a caseload of individuals with complex needs. A proven ability to handle incidents involving verbal and physical aggression is essential. The core working hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Clearance for working in a correctional environment is required.
