Job Title: Recycling Equipment Maintenance Engineer

At CSS Recycling LTD, we are seeking an experienced Recycling Equipment Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our recycling equipment, including industrial shredders, granulators, and conveyor belts.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and troubleshoot industrial shredders, granulators, conveyor belts, and other plant machinery.
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to prevent downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Carry out regular inspections of plant equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance tasks to extend the lifespan of our equipment.
  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of mobile plant, such as forklifts, and other equipment as required.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, preferably in a recycling or waste management environment.
  • Experience in repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including conveyor belts, shredders, and granulators.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems and fault-finding skills.
  • Welding skills and experience with mechanical repairs.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Fluent English language skills and a valid UK driving license.
