Job Opportunity: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children and Young People Therapist. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to make a valuable and lasting contribution to the lives of children and young people aged 5-12.

Position Overview: As a Children and Young People Therapist, you will provide short-term therapeutic interventions for children with mild to moderate mental health issues, offering a blend of face-to-face and online counselling sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality therapeutic interventions for children aged 5-12, addressing their mental health needs and promoting emotional wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver a comprehensive service, including clinical supervision and training opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development of our service as a provider of high-quality trainee counsellor placements.

Requirements:

  • Good understanding of the needs of children, young people, and their families aged 5-12.
  • Ability to travel across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with most counselling sessions undertaken in schools.
