Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist for Children's Epilepsy Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nurse to lead our Children's Epilepsy Service as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to develop and strengthen our team, providing a holistic package of support to children and families with epilepsy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead an established team of clinical nurse specialists in providing specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families.
  • Work closely with our team of paediatric neurologists and paediatricians to ensure seamless, quality care for children with epilepsy.
  • Develop and implement education, audit, and research initiatives to improve the quality and service for patients.
  • Collaborate with the Neuroscience multidisciplinary team in hospital and the community to ensure a coordinated quality service.

About the Role:

This is a permanent band 7 nurse position for 30 hours per week. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership abilities, sound interpersonal skills, and a desire to improve the quality and service for patients.
