Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Salary: £37,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Hours: 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm
As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician at FCC Environment, you will be an integral part of the Waste Treatment Division (WTD) and quarries, delivering essential onsite maintenance across various locations.
This role is full-time, requiring work 5 days a week, but we are open to job share requests to accommodate your lifestyle (working full days).

- Conducting routine and emergency mechanical and electrical maintenance on equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, gearboxes, and motors to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Supporting process development and site enhancements
- Performing ultrasonic thickness testing of equipment and analyzing the results
- Maintaining detailed records of work performed, inspections, and testing
- Collaborating with contractors and FCC personnel
- Experience in the waste and/or quarry sector
- A Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
- A full, valid driving license (as this role involves multiple sites)
