Job Summary:

RBW Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Scientific Director - Medical Affairs to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing medical leadership and strategic direction to our clients in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement medical strategies to support the launch of new products across multiple therapy areas.
  • Lead and motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop long-term strategies and lead agile teams to achieve high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate digital technologies and develop talent.
  • Support business development through project evaluation, due diligence, and providing technical inputs to potential projects and product launches.
  • Represent medical affairs at relevant meetings and communicate outputs to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and provide strategic leadership to MSL/Scientific/Medical Advisor teams.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Physician with experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry.
  • Final Medical Signatory experience.
  • Thorough understanding of the NHS and intimate understanding of pharmaceuticals and their commercial implications.
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of all relevant medicinal product and medical device regulations, including relevant advertising regulations, and the ABPI Code of Practice for the Pharmaceutical Industry.
