Job Title: Care Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Home Instead Doncaster.

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live independently in their own homes. You will be responsible for providing personal care, medication management, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with medication management, including administering medication and monitoring side effects
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks for clients
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients
  • Accompany clients to medical appointments and other outings

Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Access to a reliable vehicle with Class 1 Business insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
