Cubis Systems is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Automation Engineer to join our team at our Tallington site. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in identifying, developing, and implementing operational and transactional performance improvement and automation projects to enhance customer service, reduce manufacturing costs, and minimize lead times.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for automation and AI integration.
- Conceptualize, develop, and install automation solutions.
- Implement lean principles and process improvements through standard work and maintenance of ERP system data.
- Provide technical support for project and NPI implementations.
- Support all engineering-related activities as required by the Engineering Director.
- Automation design and installation experience.
- Robotic systems design, programming, and implementation.
- Lean manufacturing concepts and implementation.
- Experience in project management.
- High-level IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office suite, Adobe Pro, and digital communications tools.
