About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Civils Planner to join our planning team, working on projects across the UK & Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing detailed delivery and procurement schedules, collaborating with the Head of Planning, Senior Planners, Site Team, and Contracts Managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain construction programmes and schedules, ensuring compliance with tender and contract requirements.
  • Collaborate with management and engineers to review project progress and address issues.
  • Identify programme risks, develop mitigation strategies, and apply problem-solving techniques.
  • Coordinate work activities with external contractors, third parties, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Consult and negotiate with third parties, including consultants, designers, and developers.
  • Monitor live projects through regular site inspections and provide progress reports to the project team, senior management, and clients.
  • Develop and present written method statements and programme commentaries.
  • Undertake detailed analysis of delays in contract plans and report to the line manager.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable experience within Planning working on civil engineering projects
  • Relevant education qualifications required
  • Competent user of P6, Asta Powerproject, and the complete Microsoft office package
  • Proven experience of project and team management
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
