Job Summary
This is a challenging and rewarding role for a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at NHS Professionals Limited. As a Band 7 Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in patient care and contribute to the improvement of medicines optimisation.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in consultant ward rounds and multidisciplinary teams to improve medicines optimisation by ensuring safe, cost-effective prescribing and compliance with Trust guidelines and policies.
- Work alongside Clinical Pharmacy Technicians to implement and deliver a 28-day one stop dispensing service, promoting the efficient use of patients' own medicines and self-administration.
- Support ward staff to maintain adequate pharmacy stock levels and regularly review and adjust levels as necessary.
- Contribute to regular audit work in defined areas of practice to improve standards of care for patients.
