About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional candidate to lead Arty-Folks as our new Chief Executive Officer. As a strategic leader, you will be responsible for driving the organisation's growth and expansion plans, while maintaining the high quality of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a clear and compelling vision for growth, with realistic and measurable goals for scaling our programme and social impact.
  • Communicate effectively with the Board of Trustees and our team, ensuring daily activities align with the organisation's strategic plan and KPIs.
  • Oversee the development and optimisation of the organisation's infrastructure, including technology, facilities, and human resources, to support increased capacity.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy that builds and nurtures strong relationships with existing and prospective funders.
  • Build capacity by recruiting top talents as Trustees, staff or volunteers, offer training and support to equip them with the skills needed and to develop their leadership skills.
Requirements
  • Committed and passionate about mental health, the visual arts, and putting people first.
  • Leadership experience & team management.
  • Ability to create plans, budget and manage financial controls.
  • Demonstrable success in fundraising.
  • Experience of working in a similar sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the Coventry / Warwickshire area.
What We Offer
  • Annual Holiday - 29 days including statutory holidays (pro rata)
  • Probationary Period - 6 months
  • Rate of pay - £40,000 per annum pro rata (£24,000 for 3 days/wk)
  • The company has a pension scheme with NEST.
  • CEO reports to Arty-Folks Board of Trustees
