Lead Care Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Care Manager to join our team at Absolute Recruitment. As a Therapeutic Home Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each child and young person.
- Lead a team of care staff to provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
- Collaborate with external agencies and professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Requirements:
- Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young Person's Workforce or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience working with children and young people in a residential setting, including two years at a senior level.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong communication skills, resilience, and a good understanding of child development and current legislation.
- Experience in a therapeutic setting and holding a Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification or Level 4 Registered Manager Award is a bonus.
