About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Unite Students. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for leading a team of housekeepers to ensure our properties are clean, safe, and welcoming for our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize and lead the day-to-day activities of the housekeeping team, including delegating tasks and monitoring standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and secure environment for everyone, including liaising with maintenance teams to resolve issues.
  • Provide hands-on support to the team to aid their learning and development, and help them reach their potential.
  • Lead by example, ensuring that the team adheres to our policies and procedures.

  • You are detail-oriented, with a keen eye for cleanliness and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • You are a natural leader, able to motivate and inspire your team to achieve their best.
  • You are able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and are confident in your ability to resolve conflicts and issues.
  • You are flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
