Senior Underwriter - International Property

AXA XL is seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to join our International Property team. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for underwriting complex risks and developing business strategies to drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Underwrite and manage a portfolio of complex risks, including property and casualty insurance
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with underwriting teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients and brokers on risk management and insurance solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform underwriting decisions
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in underwriting or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in underwriting complex risks and developing business strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
