About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Conference Operations Manager to join our team at Delta by Marriott Nottingham Belfry. As a key member of our events team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of conferences, meetings, and events across our hotel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Food & Beverage Manager in the planning and execution of conferences, meetings, and events
  • Lead by example, ensuring brand standards are maintained and the guest experience is exceptional
  • Maximize revenue opportunities through effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the events team to deliver seamless events and conferences
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a hospitality or events role
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional events and conferences
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of food and beverage trends and best practices
