Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Telematics Engineer to join our Research and Development Team at Expleo Group UK Jobs. As a Telematics Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of on-board Telematics systems, collaborating with connected car design and test teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generation and release of TCU configuration data
  • Managing suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
  • Coordination of in-house and supplier TCU validation
  • Project management of on-board and off-board connected car and infotainment teams
  • Collaboration with Telematics Service Providers, ensuring their development schedules are aligned

Requirements:

  • Degree-educated in a relevant field
  • Experience of Telematics hardware, systems, and knowledge of vehicle connectivity
  • Understanding of mobile network infrastructure and data transfer

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of 5G technologies
  • Non-European mobile networks
  • MQTT
  • End-to-End System architecture
  • European Ecall regulations
