Private Client Solicitor for High Net Worth Individuals

Law Consultants is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their team in Northamptonshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive legal services to high net worth individuals, focusing on complex tax planning, wills and wealth protection matters.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and family investment companies to ensure the financial security and well-being of high net worth clients.
  2. Oversee high-value probates, including those with foreign elements, to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  3. Claim Business Property Relief (BPR) and Agricultural Property Relief (APR) to minimize tax liabilities and maximize wealth.
  4. Maintain the firm's profile through business development, networking and marketing activities to attract new clients and grow the business.
Requirements
  1. Minimum of 5 years PQE with sound private client legal knowledge and experience in HNW, complex tax planning, trust creation and probates.
  2. Strong commercial, practical and financial awareness to provide expert advice to high net worth clients.
  3. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and marketing skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  4. Ability to lead and manage teams effectively to deliver high-quality results.
  5. Confident in communicating at senior levels to negotiate and resolve complex issues.
  6. Strong negotiation and organisational abilities to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
