We are seeking a skilled Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer to join our team at the Stephen Burke Construction Academy in Swadlincote. As a Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching, assessing, and monitoring students engaged in Level programmes from levels 1 to 3.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and assess students in Carpentry and Joinery
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Liaise with management and other departments
- Deliver part-time evening courses
Requirements:
- Industrial and commercial experience within the carpentry and joinery industry
- Understanding and knowledge of apprenticeship systems and operations
- Appropriate teaching qualification, Assessor award, and teaching experience
- Qualification to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths
