About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse and Site Operative / Technician to join our team at Gofer Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth preparation, maintenance, and return of our equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move equipment within the warehouse and on-site.
- Provide technical support during events, ensuring seamless operation.
- Deliver and collect generators and other equipment to and from event sites.
- Service, maintain, and clean generators, vehicles, and forklifts.
- Clean, test, and calibrate equipment to ensure it is event-ready.
- Collaborate with the Operations team on logistics and planning of hires.
- Assist with annual stock take.
- Maintain the warehouse, yard, and car park to the highest standards.
- Build and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Requirements:
- Full training will be provided for the role, including ADR, PM28, First Aid, Basic Health and Safety, Manual Handling, and Forklift.
- A full driving license is required, and the ability to tow.
- Knowledge of the events industry and temporary power is an added advantage.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Competent IT skills, including familiarity with hire systems.
- Self-motivated and reliable, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
