Job Description:

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and construct optical/holographic setups with precision and attention to detail.
• Manufacture master holograms using state-of-the-art lasers and optics.
• Measure and quality control holograms to ensure high product quality.
• Operate production machinery for copying holograms and converting materials.
• Conduct research and development activities, including prototyping and testing.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Adaptable and versatile, with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Good initiative and ability to manage own workload.
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare slides in PowerPoint and take good lab notes.
• Right to work in the UK and own method of transport.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience in a laboratory or technological setting.
• Experience with lasers and/or optical alignment.
• Experience in optical design, measurement, and/or spectrometry.
• Use of CAD software and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiarity with Electronics and electrical wiring.
• Programming skills in languages such as Python.
• Experience with process automation and machine vision.
