Nursery Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Nursery Assistant in Sittingbourne, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children's early education and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children's learning and development through engaging activities aligned with the EYFS curriculum.
  • Plan and provide effective care, teaching, and learning opportunities that promote growth and development.
  • Safeguard and promote children's health, safety, and welfare at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with parents, carers, colleagues, and other professionals to ensure children's needs are met.
  • Continuously learn and develop best practices in childcare and early years education.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a minimum of a C grade in GCSE Maths & English.
  • Proven experience in a nursery setting and familiarity with the EYFS curriculum.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's early education and a willingness to learn and grow in the role.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's well-being.
