Job Description

Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled Multiskilled Engineer to join our maintenance team at our state-of-the-art soft drinks production facility in the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake maintenance and repair tasks to ensure optimal manufacturing reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on a diverse range of automated equipment.
  • Implement and support planned preventative maintenance schemes to ensure equipment efficiency and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on maintenance activities and equipment performance.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant technical field, preferably in the food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on high-volume process-driven environments.
  • Experience with PLCs, including Siemens S7/S5, and diagnostics and repair of faults.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement principles and tools, such as 5S, BRCA, SMED, and TPM.
  • Proficiency in SAP CMMS and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work a continental shift pattern, with a 3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off rotation. The role will involve working in a fast-paced production environment, with a focus on maintaining equipment and ensuring optimal manufacturing reliability.
