Job Title: Science EducatorJob Overview:

Protocol Education is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Science Educator to join our team of professionals. As a Science Educator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science lessons to students, promoting a love of learning and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons to students, ensuring that they meet the needs of all learners and are aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and inclusive learning environment, managing the classroom effectively and ensuring that students are engaged and motivated.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning, communicating effectively and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Professional Development: Participate in school meetings, professional development, and training sessions, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching standards.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of science concepts and principles, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively manage a classroom and engage students.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Education.
  • Technology Experience: Experience using technology in the classroom.
Working Conditions:

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
