We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Tudor House Care Home in Selby. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, many of whom have dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and medication management
  • Support residents with their mobility and transfer needs
  • Engage with residents in activities and hobbies to promote their physical and emotional well-being

Requirements:

  • NVQ in Health and Social Care or willingness to undertake vocational training
  • Experience working with older adults, although not essential
  • Ability to work alternate weekends and day shifts
