Job Description

We are partnering with a leading insurer to find a Senior Catastrophe Modelling Analyst. The role works closely with the Actuarial team and is responsible for assisting the Portfolio Analyst with accumulation reporting and portfolio roll up.

  • Provide data analytics and price catastrophe loss contracts for multiple classes using a combination of CAT modelling results and cedant historical experience.
  • Evaluate cedant exposure data and highlight inconsistencies in exposure information.
  • Investigate modelling results and loss changes for renewal policies.
  • Collaborate with the Actuarial team to develop and implement catastrophe risk models.
  • Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and patterns in catastrophe risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain catastrophe risk models to estimate potential losses.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Analyst to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
