Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Relief Chef to join our team at Busy Bees Nurseries. As a Relief Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals to our children, ensuring that our high standards of food hygiene and safety are met.
Key Responsibilities
- To cook and provide high-quality, nutritious, and freshly prepared meals and snacks, in line with food hygiene and safety regulations.
- To follow safe working practices for children and staff and to comply with Busy Bees food hygiene and safety policies.
- To comply with the company's procedures relating to the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (COSHH).
- To maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
- To work collaboratively with our nursery staff to ensure that our children receive the best possible care and education.
About the Role
This is a flexible, zero-hours contract position, requiring you to work on an ad-hoc basis to cover absences and peak periods. You will be working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing meals for up to 100 children per day.
