Procurement Director

Are you a seasoned procurement professional looking for a new challenge? Do you have a passion for building strong relationships and driving commercial value? We're seeking an experienced procurement professional to join our team at Drax, a leading company in the energy sector.
As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Source to Contract cycle across our Professional Services suppliers. This will include building meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers, developing and implementing sourcing strategies to maximize value, and providing day-to-day procurement guidance and advice to other team members.
You will play a key role in shaping the future of our procurement function and will have the opportunity to work closely with our wider procurement team to ensure continuous improvement and best practice is shared throughout the team.
We're looking for someone with strong technical procurement skills, excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, and the ability to implement opportunities for innovation. If you have CIPS/Project Management qualification, that's great, but if you have demonstrable experience and strong performance in a similar role, we'd still love to hear from you.
We offer a competitive salary, a discretionary bonus between 15%-30% depending on company performance, private healthcare with Vitality, SAYE (Sharesave) scheme, group personal pension plan, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays. We're also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
