Environmental Consultant - GIS Mapping Specialist

FPCR Environment and Design Ltd is a leading integrated design practice seeking a highly motivated graduate with a passion for environmental data and GIS mapping to join our technical support team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digitize map data and manage bulk datasets
  • Analyze data in GIS from multiple sources and formats
  • Conduct biodiversity net gain assessments and ensure project data standards are met
  • Deliver GIS mapping and data deliverables on time and ensure data quality
  • Query and question data issues and identify time-saving solutions
  • Interpret environmental data for projects, including habitat and sensitivity mapping

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in Ecology, Geography, or related field
  • Experience working with environmental data and GIS software
  • Ability to use existing GIS templates and knowledge of data management best practices
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • AutoCAD experience beneficial but not essential
