Job Description

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Job Type: Full-time, Long-term

Location: Ealing, W5

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at EdEx Education Recruitment. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of students with learning difficulties or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with learning difficulties or disabilities
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students have access to the curriculum
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Provide pastoral care and emotional support to students as required
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping and preparing resources

Requirements:

  • 2:1 or 1:1 degree from a reputable university
  • Experience working with students with SEN/SEMH/SEND
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Organized, reliable, and flexible with a can-do attitude
