Position Overview

We are pleased to announce a rewarding opportunity for a Band 5 Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic Trauma & Orthopaedic Outpatient Department.

This role may also include rotation opportunities to the Orthopaedic Elective Unit. This is a permanent full-time position.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and oversight of nursing care for patients attending our clinics.

Your responsibilities will encompass assisting and supporting patients undergoing various trauma and orthopaedic procedures. Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential, as the orthopaedic service operates in a constantly evolving environment.

NMC registration is a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

- Exhibit politeness, courtesy, and sensitivity while delivering compassionate care to patients, visitors, and colleagues.

- Contribute to the dissemination of best practices within the department and across the Trust.
