Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer, Staff to join our team at Confluent Medical Technologies. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing medical textile-based structures to meet customer needs, with a focus on carrying products through development/validation and into production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement process development plans, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Lead technical teams through process development, characterization, and optimization, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Design, execute, and report out results from various engineering studies, including DOE and COV.
  • Write and review procedures, work instructions, and SOPs to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand product and validation requirements, providing technical expertise and solutions.
  • Interact with outside vendors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in textile development and process engineering.
  • Hands-on aptitude to dive in and provide technical leadership to teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for innovation and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality products.
