About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Budgeting & Departmental Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate budgets and departmental analyses to inform business decisions.
- Cashflow Projection and Analysis: Create and analyze cashflow projections to ensure the company's financial stability.
- 12 Month Rolling Forecasting KPI Reporting: Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling forecasting system to track key performance indicators.
- Business Performance Reporting: Provide regular financial reports to stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Presenting Financial Reports: Present monthly and quarterly financial reports to various units and departments.
- Implementing Power BI and Dashboard Reports: Develop and implement Power BI and dashboard reports to provide real-time financial insights.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are up to date and accurate.
- Monthly P&L Analysis: Analyze monthly profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement.
- Audit Support: Provide support during audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Year-end Accounts Production: Prepare and submit year-end accounts to external accountants.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Provide ad hoc financial reports as required by stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience:
- ACCA/CIMA Qualified: Hold a recognized accounting qualification (ACCA/CIMA) or be part-qualified with relevant experience.
- Industry Experience: Have experience working within the engineering/manufacturing industry.
- XERO Software Experience: Be proficient in using XERO software.
- Interpersonal Skills: Possess strong interpersonal skills, meticulous planning skills, and a result-oriented mindset.
- Current Experience: Have current and up-to-date experience with management accounts and financial accounts.
