About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quantitative Trader to join our team at Anson McCade, a proprietary trading firm specializing in cross-asset high-frequency futures trading. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for developing and building out algorithmic trading strategies that drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and build out systematic trading strategies on one or more futures
  • Manage the build-out of trading strategies, working alongside developers and engineers to ensure seamless integration and execution
  • Contribute to the development of new, cutting-edge trading ideas that leverage our proprietary technology stack and infrastructure
  • Create tools for data analysis of patterns and trends to inform trading decisions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in mathematics and statistics, with a proven track record in developing and running systematic futures trading strategies. You will also need to have:

  • 5+ years of quantitative trading experience in high-frequency trading of one or more futures
  • A MSc/PhD from a top-tier university
  • High confidence in your ability to create new strategies both independently and with team collaboration
  • Strong programming skills in Python or C++
  • Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques
  • Data-mining skills paired with data analysis skills, with previous experience operating with large amounts of tick/data
