Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) professional to join our team at Beacon Park, Great Yarmouth. As a manufacturing and office facility, we require an individual with experience in interfacing with multiple departments, including a busy workshop.

The ideal candidate will possess outstanding communication skills and a passion for ensuring 'everyone home safe, every day.'

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of appropriate risks and implement risk mitigating activities.
  • Support local initiatives, ensuring improvement projects contribute towards business objectives and deliver results.
  • Carry out analysis, reporting, and generate improvement plans.
  • Ensure the content of the GBMS is robust, effective, and adhered to.
  • Generate and provide training to all levels of the business on specific topics.
  • Review safety performance of suppliers as applicable to determine ongoing approval.
  • Work with the GM to establish a local strategy for Health and Safety aligned to the global strategy.
  • Demonstrate leadership to influence the behaviors of others within aspects of Health and Safety.
  • Carry out legislative auditing and monitoring activities.
  • Influence, explain, and adapt to the current safety culture.
  • Support supplier audits to monitor supplier safety performance.
  • Work with the GM to establish a local strategy for Environment aligned to the global strategy.
  • Carry out legislative auditing and monitoring activities.
  • Demonstrate some data collection techniques relevant to environmental monitoring.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH certificate or equivalent.
