Clark Contracts Ltd is a leading main contractor with a strong presence in Scotland. We are seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Manager to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled professional to manage our M&E service packages, working closely with project teams to ensure successful project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring the progress of our subcontractors and fostering a collaborative working relationship.
  • Providing programme and specialist information during the tender period.
  • Ensuring M&E services are installed correctly and to the correct specification.
  • Managing the test and commissioning stage of the project to achieve a clean handover.
  • Ensuring O&M manuals are handed over at completion to an acceptable standard.
  • Managing M&E contractor design portions with the supply chain.
  • Being involved in the M&E Design and Build process.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Experience in the Mechanical and Electrical construction industry at a supervisory or managerial level.
  • A recognised mechanical and electrical qualification.
  • Strong IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work both as part of a team and independently.

Experience of BREEAM and/or Design and Build would be advantageous.
