About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at Tesco. As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the accurate dispensing of medication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of our modern Pharmacy, working closely with our experienced Pharmacists and management team.
  • Apply your technical skills and strong customer focus to accurately dispense medication for our customers.
  • Dispense prescription medicines, ensuring attention to detail and accuracy are maintained at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service, offering information and advice on common ailments, symptoms, and products.
  • Support and deliver Pharmacy services and the dispensing process according to our Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Assess the legal appropriateness of dispensed prescriptions and respond to clinical and legal queries from Healthcare practitioners.
  • Ensure all dispensary routines and Standard Operating Procedures are followed, and the dispensary and consulting rooms are clean, tidy, and free of clutter.
  • Complete corporate and departmental training, and keep up to date with legal and professional developments in pharmacy.
