Parts Supervisor

Red Sky Personnel Ltd is seeking a skilled Parts Supervisor to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced workshop environment. The ideal candidate will embody the company's core values and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Materials Issue: The successful candidate will oversee the daily issuance of materials, prioritizing customer service and communication. They will coach and develop staff, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), implement action plans, and meet business objectives. The candidate will work closely with customers to interpret their requirements and provide expert advice on parts and services.
- Goods Inward: The Parts Supervisor will be responsible for checking and receiving deliveries, unloading vehicles safely, and operating a forklift truck (if licensed). They will organize the quarantine area, notify suppliers of damaged goods or short shipments, and ensure that new stock items are properly labeled and stored.
- Stock Control: The successful candidate will participate in stock counts and reconcile inventory against electronic records. They will ensure that stock items have barcodes, maintain full traceability of all materials, and store items appropriately based on size and weight.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving license
- Minimum Level 2 city and Guilds or IMI qualification
- Proven people management experience
- Prior experience in a fast-paced engineering sector
