About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at Morrisons, responsible for managing our biggest retail customer across all meat species. This is a crucial role, managing a high-value sales area and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders within the retail account, serving as the primary point of contact between the retailer and Myton Food Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within the retail account, negotiate terms, pricing, and promotional activities to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Market Analysis and Forecasting: Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive activity to inform strategy, forecast sales and manage the pipeline of opportunities to ensure targets are met.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales strategies to deliver budgets, identify growth opportunities within the account, including potential for new products or existing product development.
  • Financial Management: Manage the account's budget, including trade spend and promotional funding, monitor the financial health of the account, ensuring profitability and managing costs effectively.

About You:
