Core Responsibilities:- Direct reporting to the Department Director
- Maintain a professional and proactive approach, demonstrating strong client care skills and a compassionate understanding of client needs
- Oversee all aspects of Litigation work while providing technical expertise and support to team members when necessary
- Manage a diverse caseload with varying complexities
- Assist with casework, including a range of Probate Litigation matters such as ADR/mediation, financial disputes, and contract breaches
- Engage with clients, gather instructions, and prepare cases
- Handle correspondence efficiently
- Ensure accurate time costing procedures are maintained
- Implement recommendations from monthly file reviews promptly
- Ensure compliance with file management protocols.
- Proven experience in Property Litigation within a private practice setting
- A valid Practising Certificate is required at the time of application
- A collaborative team player who adapts well to new challenges
- Professional demeanor with excellent client care skills, capable of handling sensitive matters
- Strong networking and communication abilities to effectively market the firm and attract new business
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment
- Familiarity with publicly funded Litigation work and capacity to manage privately funded cases
- Extensive experience in Probate Litigation
- Advocacy experience is advantageous
- Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office and document management.
