Elevation Recruitment Group is working with a highly successful manufacturing business based in the Wakefield area, as they seek to bring on board an experienced Commercial Finance Analyst into their dedicated finance function, on a full-time permanent basis. This is a key role in the Finance team and duties of the Commercial Finance Analyst will include, but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and review weekly project revenue and margin reports, highlighting any risks or opportunities
  • Complete month-end revenue recognition process
  • Project sales invoices and process sub-contract invoices
  • Prepare monthly sub-contract and purchase order accrual
  • Support with analysis for monthly management and board packs
  • Maintain weekly cash flow forecast
  • Maintain budget and forecast models
  • Seek system and process efficiencies, including playing a key role in the implementation of job costing software
Requirements:
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Experience in a commercially focused role
  • Comfortable working under pressure and at pace; able to demonstrate working within a team and to own initiative, taking responsibility for continuously driving improvements
  • Able to present logical, evidenced arguments to support their decisions
