HomeServe EMEA is seeking a Senior Manager - Financial Reporting and Control to join the HomeServe Consumer Finance team. This role will be based out of our office with occasional travel to other locations.
This opportunity provides the successful candidate with the chance to contribute to the growth and development of the Consumer Finance team.
The role offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000, plus a cash/car allowance, bonus, private medical, and up to 6% matched pension.
The Consumer Finance team was established three years ago following an acquisition and has since begun trading with two new entities offering customers new products and services.
The role is responsible for ensuring the finances of the businesses are well controlled and compliant with Group policies, and that all internal and external financial reporting is timely, accurate, and well documented.
The role will report to the CFO, Consumer Finance, and work closely with the entire Consumer Finance team and the HomeServe Group Finance team.
The role does not have any direct reports, but will receive support from a Financial Analyst and be responsible for supporting and developing this role.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the finances of the businesses are well controlled and compliant with Group policies.
- Oversee all internal and external financial reporting, ensuring it is timely, accurate, and well documented.
- Work closely with the Consumer Finance team and the HomeServe Group Finance team to achieve financial goals.
- Support and develop the Financial Analyst role.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the Consumer Finance team.
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
- Experience of working within a large Group with established monthly financial reporting processes.
- Experience of using the Oracle suite of consolidation tools (FCCS) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of financial controls and a strong desire to ensure compliance.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines during month-end processes, quarterly, and annual reporting periods.
- Strong communication skills with other finance professionals and the ability to understand Group reporting critical constraints.
