We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Skilled Careers Ltd for a long-term temporary contract at a datacentre in the Basildon area.

To be suitable for this contract, you must meet the following criteria:

  1. Have a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
  2. Be qualified to mechanical city & guilds level 3 or equivalent.
  3. Have knowledge of ventilation, calorifiers, and other mechanical systems.
  4. Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on mechanical systems.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
