Are you an accomplished accountant seeking a new opportunity? Everpool Recruitment is looking for a Qualified Accountant to become part of a prestigious Top 10 Accountancy firm in Great Yarmouth.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant who values client satisfaction, enjoys managing a variety of accounts, and excels in a dynamic work environment.

Your responsibilities will include overseeing client portfolios, ensuring compliance with deadlines, and contributing to the firm’s overall growth.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring all accounts and tax matters are current and compliant with deadlines.
2. Act as the primary contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and promptly addressing any inquiries.
3. Represent the firm at networking events and client meetings to foster business opportunities.
4. Collaborate with clients on tax strategies, coordinating with internal tax teams and external specialists as necessary.
5. Mentor and guide junior staff, supporting their development and success.
6. Ensure compliance with the firm’s standards and processes, maintaining high-quality output in account preparation.
7. Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and private companies, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations.
8. Produce monthly and quarterly management accounts accurately and on time.
9. Engage with potential clients to develop and nurture new relationships.

Experience and Skills:
1. Proven experience in preparing accounts for private companies, sole traders, and partnerships with a solid grasp of tax legislation.
2. Proficiency in accounting software, particularly IRIS Accountancy Suite, Xero, and QuickBooks (preferred).
3. Strong experience in preparing management accounts for clients on a monthly and quarterly basis.
4. Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive and enthusiastic approach.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
7. Willingness to travel for client meetings and to other regional offices as required.
