We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Spring Resourcing Solutions. As a key member of our logistics client's support team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless customer experiences.
While prior experience in logistics is not essential, it would be a significant advantage. Our client offers comprehensive training for individuals from diverse backgrounds, so you can develop the skills needed to excel in this role.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service via inbound calls, resolving queries and concerns related to deliveries.
- Communicating with customers to update them on delivery status, including late, damaged, or lost shipments.
- Offering expert advice on logistics-related matters, such as correct paperwork, routes, and hazardous goods handling.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating systems with customer and shipment details.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Proven experience in a telephone-based customer service role.
- Knowledge of logistics principles, with import/export or hazardous goods experience being a significant advantage.
Benefits of this role include:
- A competitive salary range of £27,000-£32,000.
- Additional bonuses for signing up for the client's OOO service.
- An annual bonus of £500.
- 23 days of holiday time, plus statutory holidays.
