Job Summary:

Adecco is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Goods In department in a leading distribution warehouse. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of stock entering the warehouse, including unloading containers, inspecting stock, managing stock levels, and booking in products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient stock management processes to minimize mis-picks and optimize warehouse space utilization.
  • Lead and motivate a team of 4 in the Goods In department, providing direction and support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accurate stock levels and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular stock taking and checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Utilize the in-house computer system for inventory control and process documentation.
  • Implement effective stock management and control procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Perform general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a goods inwards department, with a strong background in team management and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and a hands-on approach to all duties.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels and a strong team player.
