We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Midwife to join our team at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a Midwife, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families.

About the Role

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe, effective, and evidence-based midwifery care to women and their families
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Midwifery
  • Evidence of ongoing relevant continuing professional development
  • Proven skills and knowledge in all areas of midwifery, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
