Nursery Cook

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Cook/Chef to join our team at Cherry Trees Day Nursery in Cranfield. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of meals to cater for varied dietary requirements in a professional kitchen environment.

• Prepare and cook raw-ingredients in-line with a set menu to produce a range of different meals
• Accurately record temperature checks and produce essential reports on allergy management and food wastage
• Work in conjunction with the central health, safety and environment support team as required
• Line-manage a kitchen assistant to ensure a clean, safe and tidy 5-star kitchen is maintained
• Manage a budget and champion healthy eating

• Annual salary of £23,166-£27,846 (when working 37.5 hours)
