Assistant Headteacher

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to join our team as Vice Principal for Girls' Provision. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

• Lead the development and implementation of educational strategies to improve student outcomes
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to design and deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs
• Provide guidance and support to teachers to enhance their practice and promote student achievement
• Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the well-being and safety of students
• Work closely with the Principal and other senior leaders to drive school improvement and achieve our strategic objectives

Our school is a registered independent alternative provision school with a specialism in sports. We educate students referred by mainstream schools and the Local Authority. • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Successful teaching experience at various levels in Key Stage 3 and 4
• Solid understanding of the Ofsted framework
• Previous experience and/or knowledge of Independent Schools Standards
• Experience of successful line management, performance management, and staff development
• Experience of positive behaviour management in challenging settings
• Up-to-date knowledge of Keeping Children Safe in Education, Safeguarding, and GDPR compliance
• Data analysis skills and the ability to use data to set targets and identify areas for improvement
• Understanding of high-quality teaching based on evidence and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve
